Paul J. Gualtieri - Owner/President
Paul has been the founder and president of Landscapes East, Inc. since it's inception in 1981. Paul has an AAS degree in Landscape Development from State University of New York at Alfred. Paul is a N.Y.S. Certified Nursery Professional (CNP), a NYS Certified Pesticide Applicator, and has been certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute. He is an active member of the Central New York Nursery and Landscape Association (CNYNLA).
From its earliest stages, Paul has always made customer service, satisfaction and professionalism the main focus of the company. Great pride goes into every job by all members of the firm under guidelines set at management level.
Paul is involved with not only the landscape design, but also the management, scheduling and production of the project.
Paul's company objective is to give clients the best service from the best possible employees, all at a fair price.
Bill Patane - Design/Sales
Bill has earned an Associates Degree in Landscape Development and a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Plant Science, both from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. Bill comes to Landscapes East with many years of experience in the green industry. His diverse background ranges from owning and managing a design/build firm in North Carolina to completing extensive design work on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard.
While at Landscapes East, Bill has become a NYS Certified Nursery Professional (CNP) and is also certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), a nationwide organization.
Bill is responsible for the landscape design, as well as the management scheduling and production of the project. Bill has a passion for landscape design and enjoys creating an outdoor environment that clients will enjoy for years to come.

Edward Calvarese- Operations Manager
Ed has an AAS degree from SUNY at Morrisville in Landscape Development. Edward is a NYS Certified Pesticide Applicators License, a NYS Certified Nursery Professionial (CNP) and is certified with the Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute (ICPI). He has been with Landscapes East for over 15 years, and takes great pride in quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
As operations manager, he is responsible for maintaining a smooth operation on each job site, dispatching the proper personnel and equipment, ordering materials, assigning equipment, and making on-site decisions as necessary.
Ed's 15+ years with Landscapes East makes him an invaluable asset and resource to you, our clients.
Judy Roney - Office Manager
Most of the time when you call Landscapes East, Inc. you will be greeted by our office manager, Judy. She has been with Landscapes East since 1992. Each year she is faced with the daunting challenge of maintaining an efficiently run office from both an organizational and bookkeeping angle. She is always there to help with billing and other questions our clients may have.
Feel free to call her with any questions that may arise regarding billing statements or payment transactions.
Judy is a real asset to our company.
Our Landscape Foremen -
Our success here at Landscapes East rests upon the shoulders of our landscape foremen. When you speak to any of our many satisfied customers you are likely to hear about the great experience they have had working with us. This is due to our foremen. We understand that when you decide to have Landscapes East Inc. install a project, it is crucial that all the work be performed as discussed and agreed upon.
Our foremen are highly trained and accept only the best from themselves. Landscapes East Inc. takes great care in hiring only the best and most capable people in the industry, and puts great emphasis on maintaining a highly-skilled work force. If there is ever a question on one of our jobs, the foreman in charge will almost always have a clear and concise answer for you. In the event that he is unable to answer all of your questions, be assured that he is always in contact with the designer and together they will be sure to address any and all of your concerns.
